As a QA App Tester, you’ll be responsible for performing manual and automated testing to ensure our applications function as expected across a wide range of scenarios. This role focuses on regressive testing to identify issues before our apps go live. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify and resolve potential issues efficiently and effectively.
Perform regressive testing on new and existing app functionalities to ensure consistent, high-quality performance
Conduct functional, UI/UX, and compatibility testing on iOS, Android, and web applications
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies
Work closely with developers to reproduce and diagnose reported issues, verifying fixes before releases
Design, document, and execute test cases and scenarios for various test phases, including smoke, sanity, and regression tests
Contribute to the development and execution of automated testing scripts, where applicable
Actively participate in team meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on testing results
Assist in defining quality standards and metrics for the project and product
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in QA, specifically in app testing, with a focus on regressive testing
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using testing tools and bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
Familiarity with both iOS and Android operating systems and devices
Experience in writing and executing test cases and scripts
Basic understanding of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues effectively
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to document and report issues clearly
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of the application is tested and reviewed
